Are you trying to rush into developing a relationship? This happens with some of you, when you find that most of your friends have a regular mate, or that the time to marry is right, or when you feel the lack of a companion. You rush into a relationship. You are ready to settle with someone who you feel may not be right for you. That is an invitation to future problems. Why do people behave like this? What can be done?
Feeling the urge to get into a relationship is natural. It is biological and there is nothing wrong about it. Rather it is an essential part of growth. The problem arises when you go into a relationship to satisfy some other desires that are not part of the relationship. For example, if you face career, or home or health problems, you may feel that getting a companion may help solve these problems. You may be feeling frustrated with your present state and need someone with you to live a happy life. This may hurt your relationship, because you are entering with your own baggage. To avoid that happening, you have two choices. Either set your life straight or search for someone who will be supportive from the beginning. You must tell your prospective partner, about how you feel and get an assurance that they will support.
Sometimes, a repeated failure in getting into a relation makes you feel insufficient. You want to feel good about yourselves and not insufficient. That may make you rush into a relationship without much thought. You want a partner and that is your need because otherwise you feel that you are a failure. This will also invite problems. If you are sure about yourself, wait and get into relationship with the right person. Don’t rush for the reason that you need someone, so that you don’t feel like a failure. Before entering into a relationship, assess yourself, your needs, find out about the kind of partner you are looking for and then look for him/her. That is the right way to get joy.

Love makes me complete. I have found what I was searching for all these years. The emptiness in my heart has been filled with love. My darling has given me the real life. I live for love. I live for my darling. What is life without love? There is nothing more important than love in life, because love is life.
Are you in euphoric love with someone and have submerged yourself in that love so much, that nothing else is any more important in life for you? Do you only want to be with your sweetheart, please him/her and feel the high of love at all the times? Have you submerged your personality in love and now do only what pleases your sweetheart? You may not be aware of it, but what feels so life-giving, may one day threaten your life if your darling turns away.
Are you an emotional animal, with very strong emotions? All your emotions are very strong and your heart rules over your heart? Then you are getting totally dependant on your beloved to get love and feel good. When he/she will walk away one day, you will feel strong emotions of loneliness, sadness and hurt. You will feel cheated. You will self beat yourself continuously and try to regain that love, but it will not return. Note that your partner may not feel the euphoric love that has engulfed you so much. Your partner may be more practical and can walk away if you begin to become a liability.
This may not necessarily happen. All partners don’t leave. You may continue enjoying the love. But try to get satisfaction and try to feel fulfilled with other means also. Don’t get totally dependant on your love. Spreading your love from one person to many others may be one solution. That will not be romantic love of course, but love of compassion and purity.

A couple in deep love with each other, finds love everywhere, because they are filled with passion. But there are certain places where the joy of romancing increases manifold. One can never imagine of romance on a busy street with cars honking all the time. To romance and share what the heart says in silence, go to watch sunsets. You will truly enjoy the passion. If you watch a sun set near a sea shore, that will even double the joy.
Imagine the sun setting on the horizon, and the sky turning darker slowly. Watch the sun rays that change in colors as they reflect from the clouds. You will see few birds flying around going back to their homes, and the peaceful sea with waves unendingly kissing the shore.
The sun sets slowly. As you watch it, you can feel it dipping in the ocean. The colors change very fast and the reflections from the clouds look mesmerizing. If both of you are alone on the shore, it will make you so close to Mother Nature, that you would feel nothing else exists on the earth except both of you and the nature. It is peaceful, and hearts can talk to each other. Words are not needed when one watches such enchanting sights. One can as well talk with the heart. Look at the waves. Somehow waves look quiet during the sunset. But they keep reaching the shore, touch it, and go back. This is the unending dance that has been going on since millions of years. Watch the sun’s reflection on the ocean. Even if you were not a poet, you would write a poem about your beloved and the sunset.
We are all troubled with day-to-day work and worries. They are unending. Romance brings a new freshness in life and watching a sunset together can make you touch that fresh feeling, as if no worries ever existed. As the sun sets, and the night arrives, get up and return to your nest as all the birds have already done. Gather as many such moments as possible because after few years, they will become your most cherished treasures. Life is short.
