001399182.jpgMaking something personalized for that special someone can go a long way while leaving a lasting impression. Taking your time to create something personal really showcases your extreme care, attention, and love for an individual. Whether it’s for a birthday, holiday or just because – these types of gifts can be special for anyone. For instance, a scrapbook can be a great way to reminisce on all the good times you had together. Include your favorite pictures, movie stubs, and/or personal items that remind you of certain events; package these memories and enjoy them together from time to time. A scrapbook can be a great gift for both men and women.

Take the time to listen to things that may give you ideas on what to make for personal gifts. Small gifts throughout the year, especially when they least expect it, will keep them satisfied and happy in a relationship. While gifts shouldn’t make or break a relationship, it can show the other a lot about your personality and your intentions for the relationship.

The most important thing about personal gifts is that they should come directly from the heart. Their message and the effort put in to create them will be appreciated by its recipient and it’s always a sure way to put a smile your significant other’s face. Some people consider these gifts corny, while others cherish them. Perhaps you may want to discuss this before embarking on an elaborate personal gift giving spree.

Whatever the result, let your significant other know your intentions in giving these gifts. Assure them that their happiness and satisfaction is important; you want to make them happy and it also made you feel good doing so. Personal gifts can also be a great way to get a couple out of a rut. Don’t use personal gifts as a way to apologize however, because the sentiment of the gift giving occasion will likely be lost.

The Art of Kissing

300px-couple_in_love.jpgKissing is one of the most important aspects of love making, and is often the first act that is practiced and developed. Yet, have you ever stopped to think about what constitutes the art of kissing? There are a number of different styles of kissing, ranging from the formal greeting, the family peck on the cheek, and the intimately passionate French Kiss. Though the other forms don’t require any practice or special attention, if you want to be a good lover, you will need to develop your own style for kissing.
It should be said that there really isn’t a “right” or “wrong” way to kiss, however certain people will respond either positively or negatively to your personal style. It is also important to know when it is appropriate to move from a formal “good night” kiss on a first date, to the more intimate French Kiss.

First, when you share a kiss on a date, the most important rule is to have self-confidence. You should also check for body language clues to determine if the other person would be receptive of a kiss. Never try to give a French kiss as your first kiss. This is an invasion of the other person’s space. Kisses should be given slowly for two reasons. First, you should move slowly so if the other person isn’t receptive, and you have possibly misread their body language, they will have the option of stopping things before they advance. Don’t feel offended if the other person isn’t receptive. There are a number of reasons why some people don’t click, and you could waste your lifetime trying to narrow in on just one. What is good to know is that there is someone out there for you, and you are one step closer to finding that person.

Second, you should kiss slowly because that increases passion and allows you to find out the other person’s personal kissing style. Kissing on the cheek is a good step for the first kiss. If the recipient turns their face towards you and offers you their lips, then you know they are receptive. However, a quick turn of their head away from you and a courteous, “Good Night” is enough to let you know that the date is over. If in fact, if they do offer you their lips, then proceed slowly. Don’t just automatically try to thrust your tongue in their mouth, just begin by kissing gently on the lips, slowly and let things progress naturally.

When you are on a date, often you eat a variety of foods. Whether it is at a restaurant, at the movies, or stopping in a coffee house what you eat and drink on a date will have an impact on your breath. It is a wise idea to always carry breath mints or gum to ensure that your mouth is fresh and ready for that kiss. However, be sure not to have gum in your mouth if you are receptive towards or initiating a kiss. The art of kissing is found in the fact that when you are in a relationship, you and your partner will develop your own kissing style together. Just remember that the key is to move slowly and not overpower the other person with your own French Kissing techniques. Move cautiously and get a sense for what the other person is doing as well.

In today’s world, people have the luxury of using the advancements of technology to further their dating and relationship needs. Whether it is meeting someone through an online dating website, or communicating via email, the Internet and other forms of technology enable people to correspond in a number of different ways. One of the newest and simplest forms of modern communication is text messaging. For those who may be unfamiliar with text messaging, let me define the process so that you will have a clear understanding exactly what text messaging is and how it works.

First of all, many mobile or cellular phones come with the capabilities of sending text messages or SMS. SMS stands for Short Messaging Service and it is the ability to type in a message that is delivered in text form to a cell phone. Interestingly, technology has allowed for text messaging between cell phones, or from a computer to another computer, computer to cell phone, landline to cell phone, and even a Pocket PC to a cell phone. No one really knows who invented SMS or text messaging, and no one really expected it to catch on. It is a simple technology yet amazingly, many people have found the art of sending text messages a great way of communicating.

One of the nice features about text messaging is that many mobile phone carriers allow for free or very inexpensive text messaging- both inbound and outbound. However, it is important to check your mobile phone service provider’s plan to ensure that you can use the service for free. If your provider charges a few cents per message, remember not to get carried away and only text within your budget. You may find text messaging so much fun that it is easy to turn those cents into a few hundred dollars, so text wisely and carefully.

You may wonder why anyone would need text messaging when they have a telephone and can make calls easily and simply. To begin with, text messaging offers many benefits. Like mentioned before, text messaging is often offered for free and many users can send free text messages via their computers to a mobile cell phone user. This is a nice way to send a message to your romantic other if they are at work, or if you know that they are busy and would be interrupted by receiving a phone call, but you would still like to send them a nice message or greeting.
Many cellular phones come with standard greetings, but these often don’t express the true feelings that the sender wants to convey in their message. However, if you find it difficult to choose the right text message, here are some great ones that will express to your partner how you feel:

    I Love You or I Luv U

    Always and Forever…I Love You

    You Rock my World

    I will always love you

    You have captured my heart

    Miss U, want U, need U

I’m yours forever and a day

    Thinking of U

    Missing U Terribly

    Wishing U were Here
